The walls of Jimmy’s café on the first floor of the Dorey Centre provide excellent exhibition space for 2 dimensional works. The hanging system comprises wall-mounted grids with hooks which allow great flexibility for displaying work wherever and at whatever height the artist might choose.
One of the advantages of hiring the space is that there is a constant through-put of visitors to the building – either attending a daytime meeting or evening function or perhaps simply having lunch or coffee in the café.
Arrangements can also be made for an open evening, preview or private viewing with catering provided by Jimmy’s.
As with all public events taking place in the building, exhibitions are advertised in the St James bi-monthly Diary.
One week's hire of the walls during normal opening hours cost on request.
