JIMMY’S CAFÉ
Jimmy’s is situated on the top most floor of St James and enjoys panoramic views over St Peter Port and the neighbouring islands. Open 10.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to Friday, the café can cater for all your needs – whether it be a quick cup of coffee on the way into town or a more substantial hot lunch.
Every day, Chef Alastair Drew prepares a choice of hot and cold meals, sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes as well as a selection of home-made soups 'of the day’ and specials – all made with the freshest ingredients. On a warm day, why not sit out on the balcony overlooking the Sunken Gardens.
Pre-show suppers are also offered to audiences at selected performances and are an ideal way to relax and enjoy a meal before the performance with no hurry to make it to St James in time for curtain-up. These are served from two hours prior to the performance onwards and comprise a drink on arrival, two courses (with vegetarian option) and coffee. Performances offering a pre-show supper are indicated in the St James Diary and tables must be booked in advance.
The café also provides an in-house catering service for events taking place within St James. Whether it be a buffet lunch for delegates on a staff away-day in the Whittaker Hall or afternoon tea to break-up a boardroom meeting, Jimmy’s can cater to your needs. Your catering requirements must be booked directly with the café following making your room booking with the St James administration office. Catering requests can be made either by calling Natasha on 01481 714175 or by emailing jimmys@cwgsy.net
Holding your staff meeting in your own office, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a dining experience from Jimmy’s. The café also offers an outside catering service, delivering buffet platters and freshly prepared cakes and pastries straight to your door. Contact the café directly for more information on this service.
